Free Printable Birthday Bubble Wrappers

Bubbles make a great party favor for summer birthdays.

These wrappers fit around a standard size bottle of bubbles.

After I printed them, I just cut them, glued them around the bottle,
and then I covered the labels with clear packing tape to make them water-proof.

Today I am sharing these free printable wrappers with you!

I had fun creating this card with the help of my daughters.

It was fun for them to come up with words that describe their daddy.

And now they're off to make more :)

You can make your own, but if you're short on time or inspiration,
feel free to use this one!

I really like the chalkboard art I've seen everywhere lately.

I gave it a try, and happened to find my attempts again today.

So I thought I'd share :)

They could be used as a card or home decor.

And the following one is a variation on this printable I created last year.

Valentine Pencil Flags - Easy handmade Valentines (Free printable)

Do you need a fast and easy, but cute Valentine?

You've come to the right place!

The colorful text on these flags wishes you a Happy Valentine's Day,
while on the back there is room for the giver to write their names.

They're fast to make, and your kids can help, or they could even do it.

You can use Valentine pencils, or any other kind of pencil would work.
We picked plain ones for the boys and patterned ones for the girls...

Below you see the sheet you're going to print out.

One page makes 11 flags.

You can print on regular printer paper,
colored cardstock, or scrapbook paper...

Use a paper trimmer or scissors to cut the page in strips,
as pictured below.

Let your child fill in his or her name at this point, before they are attached to the pencils.

Use a glue stick to put glue on the strip.
You don't need to put it on the whole strip, but make sure to put it a little further than the center of the strip.
(So I mean more than half of the strip has glue on it.)
Hmmm, does that make sense?
This will make sure that the flag stays in place.

Cut out a little triangle.

And that is all!

Simple, right?!

My girls are excited to give these to their classmates on Valentine's day!

Enjoy!

Southwestern Dip Mix Gift - Free printable labels

Do you need a last minute handmade gift idea,
that's easy and tasty?

I got one for you!

It all started when I spotted these cute dishes at Michaels:

They were too small for baked gifts,
but I thought they were so cute, so I got them anyway.

Then I realized they would be perfect to serve a dip in.

Looking around online, I found a dip that sounded tasty.
So I mixed it up, and I tested it, and I served it to my family.
We all liked it, so I considered it a success.

I mixed up a big batch,
got Ball half pint wide mouth canning jars,
and filled them with the mix.

I printed a label with directions and stuck it on top of the jar.

(You mix one tablespoon of the mix with 1/2 cup of sour cream and 1/2 cup of mayonnaise.)

To protect the dish, I cut this shape with my Big Shot,
out of the protective material the cashier at Michaels had wrapped around my dishes.

I put the protective material in between the dish and the jar:

Then, I wrapped it in some clear plastic bags,
and tied it up with ribbon.

And they were ready to be gifted!

In case you want to make your own,
I am sharing the printable labels with the directions on it HERE.

Scenic route

I read this inspirational quote in a newsletter we received.

The author is unknown as far as I can find. Please correct me if I am wrong...

The picture above is my own. Feel free to print it for personal use.

So far this has been so true!
We have to work a little harder to get our little one to do certain things,
but once she does them, she makes us so proud.
And if she adds one of her huge grins to it, that's even better!

Owl always love you - free printable poster

I am in the process of redecorating the room of our youngest.

I bought some cute owl stickers over a year ago, I think before she was even born,
intending to decorate her nursery with them.

They are still in their original packaging...

But recently, I have finally started to work on her room

I will share pictures once it starts to look a little better:
at the moment its half Pooh, half owls, plus a big mess...

In the meantime, I thought I'd share this print I made for her room.

I am planning to print it as an 8 by 10 picture,
so that it fits a standard 8 by 10 frame.

I didn't put my watermark on it,
so that you could use it too, if you want.

And as always:
for PERSONAL use only please!

(The image appears as if there are no borders,
since it blends in with the blog background.
Just double click the picture and you will see
the original print.)

You are a-MAZE-ing: free Valentine Printable note cards

This year, we are making these Valentines:

Miniature heart-shaped mazes, attached to a card with the text
"You are a-MAZE-ing"

I didn't come up with the idea myself, I saw it here.

When I happened to see little heart-shaped mazes at the Dollar Tree, I just had to have them :)

Fortunately, my daughter liked the idea, too...

I made little cards to go with them in Word.
We printed them on textured card stock.

We used adhesive tape to attach the hearts to the little card.

We rounded the corners with a corner punch, and added the adhesive.
In the picture below you can see a strip of adhesive if you look well...
The hearts can simply be put on it, the mazes stay in place, but can be taken off without glue sticking on the back of them.

Simple and cute...

It took me some time to figure out how to line them all up so that all cards would be exactly the same size (I am kinda compulsive that way, they just all HAVE to be exactly the same).
I decided to share the document in case someone out there wants to use it, too.

Click on the following link to download the free PDF document
FREE "You are a-MAZE-ing" DOWNLOAD

Nine small cards print on a 8.5 by 11 size sheet.
Make sure you change the print settings in Adobe Reader where it says "Page Scaling" to "None".

The backs can be personalized. (Before the hearts are attached.)

The small cards could also be glued to a bigger sized card.

Enjoy!

Be.YOU.tiful - Valentine's day printable

Inspired by the idea on this blog, I wanted to do something with this neat word play, so I made this little printable.

Think it contains a great message for our kids, or another loved one...

Use it as a card, for your scrapbooks, home decor, etc.

Would also work great as a Valentine...

Let it snow...

Although it's pretty cold,
we still haven't seen much snow here.

We have been doing some winter decorating,
and I made this printable.

So I thought I'd share it here...
(The size is 8 by 10.)

Now we need some snow!
